The goal of The League City Dog Park Association is to bring the first of what we hope will be several dog parks to the Galveston County Area. Galveston County and League City is one of the fastest growing areas in Texas and home to thousands of pet owners who would like a nice place to exercise and work their dogs, off leash, as well as to socialize their dogs with other pets in a safe and pleasant environment. Please visit them at BARK9. Houston has public Dog Parks that are designated and built specifically for dogs to socialize and exercise safely and off-leash. Houston and surrounding areas now boast over 20 fenced, off-leash dog parks with a variety of amenities including swimming ponds, agility equipment, shaded seating and walking trails. Amenities vary by park. View their website Houston Dog Park Association A Call for VolunteersBay Area Pet Adoptions is seeking volunteers.
